Perfect reinforcements in a single step

The Carton Inserter is a module approximately 3 meters long that allows reinforcement pieces to be inserted into the box in-line at a constant, high speed without interrupting the production flow. After the side registration section, the box enters a suction belt that keeps it perfectly stabilized and 100% registered, leaving the entire interior completely exposed: with no straps or elements covering flaps or critical areas. An upper module (double inserter type) operates over this “open window,” using servomotors to synchronize the arrival of the reinforcement with the box’s advance, depositing it precisely in its exact position.
Once the insert is applied, the box leaves the suction belt, passes through another registration station, and continues through the pre-folding, gluing, and folding process with maximum stability. The combination of continuous suction and servo technology—in both the double feeder and the folder-gluer—ensures a perfect alignment between the insert and the design, preventing the insert from encroaching on slits or functional areas that would compromise the final closure.
This approach delivers high precision at actual production speeds, reducing errors and rework, and ensuring that each insert is placed exactly where it should be. The module can be integrated into any folder-gluer in our range, expanding its capabilities without sacrificing performance or quality.
